Have you gotten permission from phpFox as they don't allow transfers. SocialEngine also doesn't allow license transfer.
I did not know this fact, excuse me.
I have an active socialengine license and have an active phpfox license, just thought I could stick with two socialengine licenses.
I'm going to buy another socialengine license, thank you very much for the information
Just an update but there's an amnesty with SocialEngine now to allow anyone to move their accounts from reseller to their own account. http://blog.socialengine.com/2018/04/06/socialengine-reseller-account-migration/ . I know some of you wanted to do that.
Go into your files on the server and in application/settings/cache.php change from redis to file. Lines 17-25 and you should make a backup of the cache file first.
array ( 'File' => array ( 'file_locking' => true, 'cache_dir' => '/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/fresh/temporary/cache', ), ), 'default_file_path' => '/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/fresh/temporary/cache', ); ?>
Are you currently (or with the newer version) able to tag someone in discussions in SE?
In 4.10 we have username tagging (mentions) .
Note that the only place to get our #SocialEngine plugin,
Groups by Category, is at the SocialEngine Marketplace. It is a free download. If you find it anyplace else, that would be an illegal copy and could contain back doors and malware. Why get an illegal copy when you can get the original free?
Our basic installation instructions should get you started. After you have the plugin installed, here's how to configure it to show:
Drag it to the left and place it under or above all of the green blocks that are already there.
Click "Edit" and set the settings as you want them. (See below for details on how to get the group category ID number if you don't know how)
“Save Changes” when done in the popup edit screen.
If you want to translate the phrase "Posted by" you'll need to edit the phrase for Posted by %1$s.
Check front end and it will show where you placed it.
The screenshot below shows the block.
** How to Find the Group Category
There are two ways to find the Category number. One is to go to the front end Groups and select the category to view in the search drop down on the right. Once it opens to show those Groups, the URL will contain the category number.
The second way to find it is to go to your Admin panel and under Plugins > Groups > Categories, hover the mouse over the "Edit" button for the category you want to find the ID number for. It will show in the lower left in the URL popup.
Remember the category ID number and enter it in the Group Categories widget.
